Targan Jones is the founder of Connected Momentum and a Fractional Executive Director and nonprofit consultant based in the Greater Tampa Bay area.

The practice is grounded in two things: time spent directly inside organizations, and a clear-eyed understanding of what breaks them. Over the past several years, that has meant holding board positions, working onsite with organizations across the US and West Africa, managing donor relationships, and helping organizations secure and steward millions in funding across multiple program areas.


The work today focuses specifically on mid-level nonprofits ready to build the systems they have been missing. Not because their mission is lacking. Because they have never had the infrastructure to convert what they have already built into sustained growth.

Connected Momentum specializes in military-associated nonprofits in the Greater Tampa Bay area. That focus comes from direct experience in that space and a genuine understanding of how those organizations operate, what they are up against, and where the real opportunity sits.
