Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions, straight answers.
1. Who do you work with?
Executive Directors and Board Chairs of established nonprofits, typically with annual revenue of $200K or more. We specialize in military nonprofit consulting for organizations in the Greater Tampa Bay area, and work as a Tampa Bay nonprofit consultant to mission-driven organizations nationally and internationally.
2. What is a 90-day sprint?
This is 90-day sprint consulting: a focused, time-bound engagement built around your single highest-priority challenge. Over 90 days, we develop a concrete plan, build the tools and infrastructure to address it, and hand off real assets your team can run. Call it nonprofit capacity building with a deadline: no vague deliverables, no open-ended engagements.
3. What's the difference between the 90-Day Sprint, the Build, and Hosting & Support?
The Sprint is for organizations with one pressing growth challenge to solve. The Build is for organizations that want their donor re-engagement system built from scratch and handed off ready to run. Hosting & Support is for organizations that already have the system and want it kept live, stable, and backed by real help. Most organizations start with a Sprint or a Build, then move into Hosting & Support to keep the momentum going.
4. What is Audit & Charity Rating Strategies?
It's a nonprofit-specific offering built around a clear-eyed audit of your financial health, transparency practices, and public ratings profile (think Charity Navigator, GuideStar/Candid), paired with a practical nonprofit fundraising strategy to strengthen what funders and donors see when they look you up. It's separate from the three core tiers, and you can bring it up on a Momentum Call.
5. How much does it cost?
Pricing is discussed on the Momentum Call. Every engagement is tailored to the organization's size, scope, and priorities. We don't publish rates, because the right conversation has to come first.
6. How long does an engagement take?
The 90-day sprint runs 90 days. The Build typically takes 30 to 45 days for installation. Hosting & Support is ongoing once the system's live. Every timeline is discussed upfront, so there are no surprises.
7. Do you work with small nonprofits?
We work best with organizations that have the capacity to act on what we build together. That generally means an established team and a budget that supports meaningful investment in growth. Not sure you're the right fit? A Momentum Call is the place to find out.
8. Do you work with organizations outside Tampa Bay or outside the US?
Yes. All engagements are delivered remotely as the default. In-person work in the Greater Tampa Bay area is available, and travel for in-person engagements elsewhere can be arranged. We also have direct experience working with organizations in West Africa.
9. What is a Momentum Call?
A Momentum Call is a 30-minute conversation where we talk through your organization's situation, identify where your growth gap is, and determine whether we're the right fit to help close it. No pressure, no pitch: just an honest conversation about where you are and what's possible.
